Welcome to the province and formal opening of the exhibition.
Miners' Gathering — Meeting for Workers
An activity that highlights the role of mining workers within the opening day of the San Juan International Mining Expo and in the lead-up to Argentina's Mining Day, with participation from union representatives and industry stakeholders. A gathering and recognition space promoted by the Argentine Mining Workers' Association (AOMA).
Opening Cocktail Reception — Executive Industry Reception
An exclusive cocktail reception for authorities, business leaders and senior executives from the mining sector. Priority access for exhibitors and sponsors. Organized in collaboration with the San Juan Mining Chamber and the Government of San Juan.
+ Ring the Bell: TSX Market Opening Ceremony — Authorities and special guests will take part in the market opening ceremony, in a symbolic activation alongside the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), part of TMX Group.

Argentina's Mining Day
24 Hours of Innovation in Mining — First Session
An intensive challenge aimed at university and technical students from San Juan, focused on developing applied solutions to real-world mining challenges through collaborative work and an interdisciplinary approach.
Teams composed of profiles from engineering, design, economics, IT, and exact and social sciences work on challenges proposed by companies and sector organizations, linked to industrial processes, technological innovation, and environmental, social, organizational and logistical aspects.
The activity is organized by the Faculty of Engineering of the National University of San Juan, with participation from companies and sector institutions that contribute challenges and support the evaluation process.
Mining & Industry — Talent and Articulation for Development
This side event provides a platform for dialogue and analysis on the role of talent, industry and institutional articulation in the development of Argentina's mining sector.
The agenda addresses female participation in mining, integration with the national industrial ecosystem, and challenges related to employment, training, productivity and supplier development, from a technical, business and institutional perspective.
The session brings together representatives from the mining, industrial and associative sectors, promoting the exchange of experiences and the identification of concrete opportunities for articulation between mining and industry.
Germany Focus — Technology and Industrial Development for Mining
An update session on technologies developed in Germany for application in the mining industry, with a focus on advanced solutions, industrial integration and knowledge transfer to projects in Argentina and the region.
The program addresses the positioning of Germany's technology ecosystem within the sector, its link to the global mining industry, and opportunities for collaboration with local development. Co-organized with VDMA Mining & Minerals.

Federal Mining Roundtable — Institutional Meeting · Limited Access
Governors, national government officials, mining authorities, operating companies and leading institutions will convene the Federal Mining Roundtable, a strategic coordination forum aimed at consolidating an integrated vision of mining development across the country and strengthening the contribution of different regional production hubs.
The session promotes the convergence of capabilities, resources and growth opportunities within a federal agenda focused on development, investment and job creation nationwide.
Veladero — Cocktail Reception: Community Development Committees of Iglesia and Jáchal
An institutional presentation of the Community Development Committees of Iglesia and Jáchal, featuring local representatives and key stakeholders from the Veladero project. The session will include remarks by Marcelo Álvarez, Vice President of Government Affairs LATAM at Barrick, together with committee members, addressing collaborative work with local communities and current initiatives across both departments.

Continuation of the 24-hour intensive challenge aimed at university and technical students from San Juan, focused on developing applied solutions to real-world mining challenges through collaborative work and an interdisciplinary approach.
At this stage, teams advance in the consolidation and final presentation of proposals developed from challenges posed by companies and sector organizations, linked to industrial processes, technological innovation, and environmental, social, organizational and logistical dimensions.
The session is part of a broader training and educational engagement program that includes activities for secondary-level students and dedicated spaces for teacher training, consolidating a comprehensive approach to talent development within the mining industry.
The program concludes with the presentation of results and the awards ceremony, with participation from provincial authorities, academic representatives and industry stakeholders.
The activity is organized by the Faculty of Engineering of the National University of San Juan, with participation from companies and sector institutions that contribute challenges and support the evaluation process.
