The conference targets supplier firms, with limited access for exhibitors and sponsors of San Juan International Mining Expo. Sessions are followed by a business brunch and, subsequently, by structured demand-driven meetings between suppliers and decision-makers.

Argentina Copper — Series + Welcome Brunch
A condensed version of the Argentina Copper Conference, developed over the years as the main side event of San Juan International Mining Expo. Ahead of the official opening, the program will highlight, through a series of high-impact panels, the current landscape and outlook of Argentina's copper sector, along with broader industry dynamics and key factors shaping its performance.
The agenda addresses the status of project pipelines, key investment focus areas in Argentina, companies' operational context and the international environment, including geopolitical variables, financing conditions, and infrastructure development linked to copper.
Federal Mining Roundtable
Governors, mining authorities, national government officials, operating companies and leading institutions will take part in the Federal Mining Roundtable, an institutional meeting focused on aligning mining activity with complementary industries and strengthening integration between mining regions and other high-potential areas.

Official Opening Ceremony of San Juan International Mining Expo 2026
Governors of the Copper Board and the Federal Mining Roundtable, together with senior national authorities, will welcome attendees to the 11th edition of the Expo.

Argentina's Mining Day
Mining & Industry — Talent, Competitiveness and Articulation for Development
This side event provides a platform for dialogue and analysis on the role of women in the mining sector and their contribution to industry integration and institutional development.
The agenda addresses female participation in mining, their integration into the industrial ecosystem, and challenges related to employment, training, productivity and supplier development, from a technical, business and institutional perspective.
The session brings together representatives from the mining, industrial and associative sectors, promoting the exchange of experiences and the identification of concrete opportunities for collaboration, with a focus on talent as a driver of development and competitiveness.
Germany Program — Technology and Industrial Development for Mining
An update session on technologies developed in Germany for application in the mining industry, with a focus on advanced solutions, industrial integration and knowledge transfer to projects in Argentina and the region.
The program addresses the positioning of Germany's technology ecosystem within the sector, its link to the global mining industry, and opportunities for collaboration with local development. Co-organized with VDMA Mining & Minerals.

24 Hours of Innovation in Mining — First Session
A 24-hour intensive challenge aimed at university and technical students from San Juan, focused on developing applied solutions to real-world mining challenges through collaborative work and an interdisciplinary approach.
Teams composed of profiles from engineering, design, economics, IT, and exact and social sciences work on challenges proposed by companies and sector organizations, linked to industrial processes, technological innovation, and environmental, social, organizational and logistical aspects.
The activity is organized by the Faculty of Engineering of the National University of San Juan, with participation from companies and sector institutions that contribute challenges and support the evaluation process.
Miners' Gathering
A space for gathering and recognition of mining workers in the context of Mining Day, with the participation of union authorities, sector representatives and workers from across the province.
The activity is promoted in collaboration with the Argentine Mining Workers' Association (AOMA), as an instance focused on highlighting the role of workers in the industry and their contribution to the sector's development.
Official Tour — Mining Day Special
Presence of Dr. Marcelo Orrego — Governor of the Province of San Juan.
Site visit held in the context of Mining Day. Participation in institutional activities and tour of the exhibition. Official photo with community members, companies and key stakeholders of the mining ecosystem.

The Mining Engineering sessions provide a platform for professional development and technical exchange among engineers, operations managers and sector professionals.
The program addresses trends in safety, processing, mine closure and industrial applications, along with professional practice, regulatory developments and the role of engineering in mining at both national and international levels.
Technical Sessions — Applied Geology in Mining
A specialized session focused on the geological analysis of projects under development and the strategic role of geology within the mining industry.
The program includes technical presentations, case study reviews and professional updates, with a focus on geological characterization, exploration and professional practice within the provincial and national mining context.
Technical Sessions — Drilling Forum
A technical session focused on the role of drilling across different stages of mining projects, with participation from companies, industry professionals and operations and human resources specialists.
The agenda includes expert presentations with a focus on local experience, a panel discussion on operational challenges and working conditions, and dedicated sessions connecting HR areas with mining companies, aligned with labor demand and technical requirements.

Continuation of the 24-hour intensive challenge aimed at university and technical students from San Juan, focused on developing applied solutions to real-world mining challenges through collaborative work and an interdisciplinary approach.
At this stage, teams advance in the consolidation and final presentation of proposals linked to industrial processes, technological innovation, and environmental, social, organizational and logistical aspects.
The session concludes with the presentation of results and the awards ceremony, in a formal recognition event with the participation of provincial authorities and industry representatives. The activity is organized by the Faculty of Engineering of the National University of San Juan, with participation from companies and sector institutions.
