In 1980, Jorge Federico Billia formed the company Industrias Billia, which specialized in mainly metallurgical and turning tasks. Over time, hydraulic and mechanical repair items were added. All of these job fronts are mostly related to the industry of San Juan.

As the years went by, the company started a new business and ventured into the purchase of forklifts for rent as well as various unloading services with operators included. Years later he continued with the acquisition of cranes to perform lifting services for companies in San Juan and the Cuyo region.

+44 Years in the field

In 2004, the company Natalio SA was created, which belongs to the Billia group. The president of this firm is Jorge Federico Billia. In this company, tasks related to mining activity are carried out exclusively in our three divisions, crane lifting service, hydrocrane lifting service and heavy load transportation.

With the beginning of the Veladero project in 2004, the company Natalio SA began the construction and expansion of the entire mine camp, our service being requested to this day.

From 2010 to 2013 we worked with more than 30 active teams at the Pascua – Lama mine in San Juan.

We have specialized personnel to carry out our own maintenance, light and heavy lathes, hydraulics room, electronics and electricity sector, mechanics specialized in automotive and heavy machinery, metallurgical division and painting. In all projects we place our mobile workshops with sufficient supplies to carry out a constant preventive service and avoid any type of loss of time.

Currently we have a human group of 110 people between the different areas of both companies and a fleet of more than 100 vehicles including cranes, hydrocranes, trucks, semi-trailers, carts and vans.

We have our own Hygiene and Safety department in San Juan and active supervision and hygiene and safety teams in each project. This new item includes permanent training for personnel (operators and riggers) since they are qualified labor as they are mostly high-risk tasks.

In 2024, after a series of audits and improvements in the company, we managed to certify ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards, which refer to quality, environment and health and safety respectively.
