Wearing Compound

LOCTITE® PC 7218 Nordbak Wear Prevention Coating is a general-purpose epoxy resin system designed to protect parts from abrasion or erosion caused by coarse particles on metal surfaces (with or without chemical attack). It is intended for components such as cyclones/separator bodies, dust collectors/extractors, pump casings/impellers, fan blades and housings, chutes/hoppers, and elbows/transition points. It can be applied with a trowel and does not require additional tools.
Nordbak Wear Prevention Coating
Two-component product designed to protect, rebuild, and repair process equipment subject to severe erosion and abrasion.
LOCTITE® PC 7332 Nordbak Wear Prevention Coating is a high-performance epoxy resin system resistant to both dry and wet abrasion. It is designed to protect, rebuild, and repair high-wear areas in process equipment such as pumps and ducts in desulfurization systems, slurry pumps and pipelines, and slag granulation pumps, which are exposed to severe wet abrasion. It can also be used for particle abrasion under dry conditions in transport elbows, chutes, and other equipment. It can be applied with a spatula, does not deform, and does not require additional tools.
